We needed some family photos for our mum’s birthday (# of years not to be disclosed). I didn’t have too much time and room for the setup so I used one strobe with an umbrella directly directed to the audience and an indirect strobe that went straight to the ceiling. It is not the perfect stage but it worked and anybody looked pretty ok.
To get me to the picture I used a timer that has been set to a series of 10 photos with an interval of 3 seconds to recharge the studio flashes. After 4-5 sessions and 50 shots we finally got one that seemed to please almost everybody…
